13' RMK Assault Rear Susp.

While im waiting for snow, i have been going over my assault. What has got me worried is that i am able to completely bottom out my rear susp. by pushing down on the rear bumper.

I have the rear clicker set to the stiffest setting also.

I am not pushing down with a lot of force, just a consistent push and the rear susp. fully collapses and will not stiffen up like it should.

Any help would be great. thanks ahead of time.

are your springs setup correctly to your riding weight? if so, call your dealer, tell him whats goin on, have him rebuild your shocks.

Have you adjusted your rear track shock spring preload to the factory recommendations of your weight? If not, the table is located in your owners manual... I have mine set at 10" total spring length and that works for me. Also, the assault skid is an uncoupled rear skid, and so you are mostly compressing the rear track shock when you get on the rear of the tunnel and apply force. Also you have tons of leverage at the rear of the tunnel on the suspension... I would recommend following the recommendations from the manual and play with your center track preload. Minor adjustments makes a substantial impact on the ride quality.
