13 Pro RMK Suspension Beat Up

I bought this sled used this summer with 900 miles. Its a 13 LE Pro RMK 155 with a Silber Turbo. I can't figure why the rear suspension looks so beat on this sled. I remember seeing a similar sled with the same issue but has anyone else experienced this? See Pics below

The owners previous last ride was in Alpin in March. Is that normal for that paint with crap snow and low road riding? First time I have seen a sled suspension take that much of a rapping

Plus running the scratchers down over patches of gravel will cause that.

It is likely just an optical illusion from the camera angle. The left rail looks tweaked bad right behind the front arm mount, but is likely just the rise.

salt and gravel from traveling on an open 2 place trailer. wagering the previous owner's truck underbody looks about the same...

Sled was always on a Sled Deck.

To me it seems like that paint isn't that durable.... I could see the scratches throwing rocks down a gravel road. That makes sense

Its from the scratchers throwing rocks into the skid and getting tumbled around by the track... Maybe why your fts is shot and leaking oil?

My '13 was always in an enclosed and did that. Not quite as bad, but even the WE springs were chipping a little. The LE paint on the Pro's wasn't awesome. No worries here, I wheeled the rest of the paint and had the parts powder coated.
