I rode 120 trail miles and the sled worked flawlessly! I switched from an 09 Skidoo 800 Hillclimb and so far I really like the 800 RMK! the ride is good, it is really flickable, the motor is strong and the belt drive works great! I broke it in correctly and there was hardly any belt residue. The only complaints are no seperate thumb warmer switch and no tether cord. I just got it back from the dealer installing the Polaris shaft clamps and am hitting the trails again Saturdy, I can't wait, it is a blast!!! I just got back from my second ride 110 miles, 13.6" of fresh snow, Polaris clamps installed and everything worked flawlessly! I love this machine, there was almost no dust from the belt drive. This thing rocks! Well, back from another 120 mile trail ride, 350 miles on the sled now and everything worked great other than the weight of my Mountain Addiction gas rack with 2-1.3 gallon cans caused my rear tunnel to start sagging and bowing out one side of the tunnel about a foot behind the seat. I would recommend everyone to contact Mountain Armor and install one of their rear bumpers with added side tunnel support as the factory tunnel is way to weak! I wouldnt carry anything on your tunnel or tow another sled without some type of added support or you will most likely end up with a bent tunnel. It doesn't sound like the factory is going to fix it under warranty and it is about $4,000. For a new tunnel, be careful, you've been warned, I wish someone would have warned me! I just got back from Island Park, the sled has 1,000 miles now and everything is working great! The original drive and clutch belts look great, the sled ran great, I used the same amount of fuel as the Skidoo and Arctic Cat 800's and allot less oil. My Mountain Armor rear bumper/tunnel support looks and worked great. This is the best sled I have ever owned for playing in the mountains!
