'13 Pro LE paint chipping

anybody else seeing this?? paint chipping on the hood around the leading edges and stress cracks in the side panels.... gonna call the dealer about this

Ya mine is starting to get little paint chips as well. I like the white hood but im suprised they just painted a black hood. It would of been better to make it outa white plastic. just my 2cents

I agree whole heartedly. Might be ok on a Rush since they rarely see the trees but the places I ride seem to have trees and I've been touching up scratches and chips. Pain in the a$$. Should trade for a black hood.

I have hit almost every tree at Togwotee this week and my blue limited edition still looks good. But im not a crybaby either.

My white paint is chipping also. Not too happy, only two rides on it, and one was cut short with a broken drive shaft.

I've been waiting on this thread since I got my sled. The white paint doesn't seem to hold well on the edges. I hope mine doesn't peel back. I think dealers are going to be in a tough position when LE owners come barking. Paint is typically not something to warranty but I think someone forgot to mix in the flex additive in the spray process.

heres mine after taking an impact, I see what you guys mean about it flaking, I know what caused mine, but I can also see now how it won't stop peeling now that it has started

Noticed mine chipping today where the side panels meet the hood also up by the gauge where the lifter was installed.
Not to happy with the finish and and fit on a 13K LE sled.
I do not mind that much but when it comes to resale and the person buying it will suck.

I'm not sure about that, but it does WONDERS for my nails...and they look simply LOVELY

you could get some 3m clear cover and put over it I did my side panels on my 13 and It should keep it from peeling, I had it on my 2010 Shelby Cobra and never got one rock chip its super strong
