13+ engine in 12?

Will a 13+ Rmk 800 engine work in a 2012 pro rmk or are some parts not compatible?

I belive you would need a complet electric system also

Just did this a month ago with a friends sled, replaced his 12 motor with a 13.

They do have different wiring systems but it was definitely doable.

We had to swap out the stators (different length wire harnesses off stators) and the fuel injectors and rails (wiring harnesses are different.)

Other than that it was pretty painless.

Just used the 12 stator and fuel injectors and rail on the 13.

I've been considering doing the same thing to my 2011 RMK...throwing a 2015 low mileage motor in it.

Mainly for peace of mind with the thicker cylinder skirts, etc...

Put a 14 motor in my 12 turbo pro, no problem....as said use 12 stator, injectors, and throttle bodies( not sure you have to use 12 TB but that's what I did).
