13' CRF450 Random Bog?????

In very deep powder late in the day I would have a random bog or cutout. Usually after a jump or big bump while in the air. I'm running the stock air with frog skins over side panel openings on a 2013 CRf450. I did have to clean out my airbox a couple of times. But it still cutout right after I cleaned it out. I did have fuel in the oil at the end of the day. Could water from the snow in the airbox do this? I'm running the air filter cover over the metal screen that timbersled sells??? Any Ideas Thank

You likely got a little snow or water in there. I don't use an airbox, but I have noticed a bog before either on a big jump or a steep downhill in powder.

My theory is that the pre-filters allow small amounts of water and fine powder through. I've been using 2 pre-filters on my Pod, and haven't had any issues since.

Landing a jump with the power off on these things would make some great GoPro footage. I wish had mine turned on at the time mine bogged and I body surfed my front fender for 10 feet and stayed upright. I hope you are correct about the water getting in and I don't have a short in my electrical system. I'm also use two pre-filter over the stock screen. When I took it apart last night, I had ice and water on my metal screen. Kinda thinking I should use a pod or re install the stock foam. Teal- I'm still thinking a fuel programmer and shrouds are the only way I can cut down the fuel in the oil. T-stat didn't help much in deep powder. Thanks for the
