'13 boards versus airframes or burandt?

i had an 08 with airframes and now ride a 13 with the stock boards powdercoated. The 13 boards are badass for stock but after riding both, airframes are better. switching to 13 or burandt boards would be a downgrade imo.

Stock look better IMO, but the airframes probably work better... Save your money.

I waited for months to get the airframes. I got sick of waiting on Skinz for my '11. I'm 100% happy with the stockers now. They are very sharp though. I kept those foam covers that the sled came with so nobody whacks their chin on them in the garage.

When I snow checked my 12's I ordered my airframes as well so I was lucky enough to have my airframes in by September. I absolutely love my airframes but those 13' running boards seem to be working pretty good especially for stock boards but still no airframe. On the 11 and 12' models I think the airframes were worth the money but going onto 13' and 14' models I don't think aftermarket boards are needed. But I haven't spent a lot of time on any newer models so thats jmo.

Airframes are sweet but I won't buy anything from Skinz, been burned twice by them.

The stock & burandt boards are basically identical, work great, not sure why I'd need anything better, big improvement from the '12 boards

I snowchecked a 2012 Pro Rmk two years ago and one of the first things I did to sled was purchase Airframe running boards. I found them used on Ebay, won the auction and after receiving them i powdercoated them black from the factory grey. Best addition to the Pro Rmk platform that I did at the time. One cannot go wrong with the airframes, or any other aftermarket running boards, as I believe Polaris may have recognized back in the 2011-12 years that consumers wanted running boards that did not collect but evacuated snow and thus producing running boards for the 2013-14 seasons that did just that..... eliminated snow from the running boards.

Get some b & m fabrications boards, pretty much airframe, for $350. I'm getting a set for my 12 this weekend, small personable shop here in mn.

Keep the stock boards

Stock boards on the 13 & 14 are all you need. Put your money toward other 'upgrades" that really make a difference, like re-valving the stock shocks. One thing that is important though on the stock boards is to take a small file and shave off a little on ALL the sharp areas. Klim bibs and boots are WAY too expensive to have them cut by those razor sharp edges.

Cheers!
