13/14 seat shorter?

Has anyone out there taken a 13/14 seat and made it shorter? Im only 5'7" and sometimes have a hard tim getting over the seat with my knees. The only time I even use the seat is when we stop. I usually stand riding down the trail

I'm the same height as you, IMHO sell the seat and buy a skinz freeride seat it's perfect for the height and riding style.

Michelle at Oregon trail sports has the best price on the freeride seat.

Actually it's sell yours in the $250 range and buy through Michelle at $385

So do the math. You can't make the stock seat much shorter just less taller.

Shorten the stock seat and you should still be able to use the factory under seat bag. I have a hard time getting over the stock seat as well.
