128 track on an xcsp 700?

orig. a 121 but found a good deal on a 128x15 1in lug ripsaw on craigslist, Its a brand new take off. I know ill need rail extentions but can i get away with not doing a tunnel ext. Its my father in laws sled and he doesnt want to go to crazy and I fig the 128 would give a little more off trail performance

without the tunnel extention you will most likely eat up your snow flap and it might even catch the back of the tunnel under certain conditions. I would just look for a Camoplast cobra track for the added traction
