sled runs great dont want to bug shain any more than I already do,maby one of you guys might have some ideas, used to have 1200 naturaly aspirated with nitrous and as you were coming off the mountain ,you would have to stop and shut off motor to recalibrate as you went down in elevation and then it would run better.now since the turbo has been installed after I have been riding for a good part of the day it goes into the same mode on me,not dropping in elevation and not all the time,if I shut it off and let it sit for a min or 2,it runs good but comes back within a couple mins, one thing I did notice today was when it went into stupid mode on me I looked down at the box and at an idle it had the blue boost light on with the green, then if I shut it off and start it again just the green light is on at idle and it starts to work proper again but not for long ,once it starts this it seems to keep doing it until you get back to the truck.the fact that when the sled is running good the blue boost light is never on at an idle, make me think this is the key,do you think this could be a problem with the box ?anything you guys can think of that could cause this?this sled is great and since the twisted guys got ahold of it has not missed a beat, sorry for the long post, hopefully there is some attitude guys on here with some insite into this problem, thanx

Your dead on... The attitude box internal boost sensor is faulty showing boost at an idle. Shain or Derrick should be able to get a replacement for you. Where is the boost reference line out of the attitude box plumbed?

Mark let me dial that b!tch in for ya........SLEDIOT style. just sold my M9, boost on the way for my airbrushed thou banger.

Is this sled inside where it can thaw after every ride ? The reason i ask is my 8 did the same thing. It had been rode hard and put away wet a few days in a row , and had been out side and never thawed.

It has been inside since and it has not happened again.

It sits in my trailer and I have it heated after the rides, could be moisture but i am not convinced

buddy just had the same exact problem with his dobeck(attitude) box, the blue light would come on at idle, and the thing was acting all sorts of funky and not running properly at all. He unhooked the box connection, which on the new dobeck ones has a big plug in the middle of the harness, and when he unplugged the connector, water dumped out. let the box sit inside overnight and get nice and toasty dry. hooked it up and it worked right, try it, was a stupid priblem.

My box got pretty damp and started acting up, blue light would come on at startup and run like a pig, shut it off and fire it up a time or two and it would be okay finally. I did the old cell phone trick and put the box in a baggie full of rice, with the boost hose unhooked, and the plug out of the back of the box for a few days, havent had a issue since. Something to try anyway

I had the exact same problem, it is the boost sensor, but it may not be. Even with a new fuel controller(prologic, which is pretty damg close to an attitude), I still get the blue light on when I first start it. I have to shut it off and let it recalibrate, which is what I think is the problem, it doesn't calibrate properly.

In any event, I spoke with Garr at OVS, and he said when it does that just restart the sled and make sure the light is not on. That's what I do, and I haven't had any issues.

The problem is I can shut the sled off and the boost light goes out when I restart but it comes back after a couple min It seems once it starts this it acts up the rest of the day

Like Snowmanx said it is the boost sensor, the box is NFG. Seen this on brand new boxes. Not a thing you can do about it but get a new one. I can't wait until someone can actually manufacture a quality fuel control unit for a 2 stroke turbo sled. I have had good luck with my Attitude boxes on my own sleds but have sold ones that were no good and had to get warranty from Dobeck and they wont do straight out exchanges so buy 2 and you may always have a good spare while they fix your other one.

My two cents?

Guys, I had this exact problem about 6 weeks ago. Was riding saw the blue/green lights at an idle ext. Long story short, the ECU was going out on my sled which was sending goofy signals to the EFI box through the injector leads. Final result, a fried ECU and EFI box. I will say the Derrek at Attitude was great to work with as far as getting a replacement EFI and very little cost, and Arctic Cat was even great about Warranty'n the ECU. This was also on a brand new sled with only 250 miles on it. The one thing I will throw caution at is, when I noticed the green/blue lights staying on at idle, there was a considerable amount of moisture inside the EFI controler.
