12 or 13 pro ????????

So I can get a pretty good deal on a 13 pro. Would need to boost the thing but I am worried about drive line issues. I would really like to know how they are holding up and what is the best way to go with updates. I know there is not going to be much feed back on the Polaris new improved quick drive belt.

Would like to here from some folk that have had a few miles on the 13s with boost and if you have to modified your riding style so ya don't end up with a crippled sled. Like to know what works and how long it has worked for.

The only thing worse then towing a Yamaha out is being towed by one, I can not go there, I have shot my mouth off to long about it...lol

We have 2 that have 2012 driveshafts with no belt failures. 10-12 pounds all year. The 2013 seem to run better non turbo as well. For me it would be an easy decision.

Depends

I have a boosted 13'. 1300 miles on stock driveshaft. I put on clamps on both sides before I even rode it stock. About 350 miles into being boosted I switched to a C3 drive, I stripped my stock belt first day under boost and thought about it every ride, so wanted piece of mind and went C3. (Stripped it going downhill in 2' of new 10 miles into ride and didnt even hammer it, i am positive it had nothing to do with boost, just luck of the draw). No issues at all since going to C3. But for argument sake I have a riding buddy that ran a 13' boosted all year with stock drive belt, driveshaft, and running a 3" track and had no issues either. I think it depends a lot on the hand you get dealt with the stock sled, some have run out issues, some have glue issues,.... Some just have issues. I've personally seen sleds that were babied have twice the issue of boosted sleds with no break in and having the crap beat out of them and be fine. Hate to be the guy that says you probably won't know till you get it and ride it if your gonna have issues or not but that seems to be the case. I'd say go stock, pound away on it for first few rides and see what happens and make changes accordingly----best of luck yo ya.
