i diddnt get any pics but me and kev went out gopher huntin today ( we dont have bow tags ) and i brought the shotgun today just for the hell of it. well we saw a bunch of them, kev scared one out with his .22 and i blasted it... it was fun

Where did you guys find the gophers up there? All of ours went down about a month ago! It was a slaughter earlier in the summer, though!
That's awesome man. Carp at close range with a 12 gauge is also quite entertaining.
we went up and over keeler, by the weather station and past a couple miles. ive never shot carp but the gopher was fun, 00 buckshot and the gopher was head-on into the way of the pellets
to who ever gave me the neg rep, i missed the bow hunters safety because i was over in washington taking care of some chitt and they wont give you the tags if you dont have hunters safety... so blow me

Ragincajun probably has some good gopher stories, jesus, he lives in the gopher capital of montana, Choteau! How was the gopher days this year? Heard someone brought in a HUGE tail!

lol oh ya! we had a good gopher crop this year! lol but it is bad too...damn things tear up feilds like none other! i shot 500 rounds of .17 and .22 shells from about 4-8pm one night at my grandpa's place. he practically breeds the dam things! if anyone wants to shoot all the gophers they want call me next spring!!!

Set out in my back yard with a lawn chair, fishing pole and eather cheese or bread for bait on a treble hook. Some of them put up a pretty good fight until they trip. Then you can real them in with even a Snoopy pole. Usually end up getting snagged if they make it into the hole before you get the hook set.
