12/13 swap questions

I have a 2013 800 turbo pro that killed 6 QD belts last season so I swapped the chaincase from my 2012 600 pro. The jackshafts have different speed sensor pulses so Neither speedo will work correctly.

My question is can the dealer reprogram the gauge to read the sensor?
or can I swap the gauges?

I would think that swapping gauges will not work due to the 12 having a eth plug and the 13 eth setting in gauge. and I'm not sure about 600-800 gauge being the same.

I also put a cx3 on the 13 so it has 7 tooth drivers so the speed would be off anyway.

Anyone have any knowledge in this area?

13 belt drive

Check out TKI belt drives i have one on my 2012 better set up then the stock quick drive as it has an adjuster and the top gear has mor contact withthe belt.

For the 13 you might be able to get a gauge out of a 13 assault or standard RMK. I'd check the part number to see if they where different if not maybe you could have it flashed at the dealer. On the 12 600 you might by SOL.
