1100t vertical steering sloppy

Hey guys anybody else notice the bushing for the turbo vert steering has a lot of slop in it. I notice it lots when transitioning back and forth through the trees. Its caused a few slip ups also . Everything is installed tight and proper

You probably checked this, but the plastic bushing has a lip on the top of it and there is a metal tab on the post that goes above the lip to hold it down. I have seen a few that had this installed so the bushing was above the lip and then you can't tighten the clamps around the bushing correctly. Make sure the lip is visible ABOVE the bushing.

It is installed correctly i almost did that when first putting it on. Should have mentioned it felt tight at first but after half a week playing in trees it got sloppy. Maybe aftermarket can come up with something better. just looked at it and it appears the bushing has wore out already lol

Agreed. Bushing is taking alot of stress. The best option would be a oilite bushing and likely a little longer.

Feels worse on my 1100 then my 800, and it happens more dramatically sometimes throwing me off on a line
