Is boost one of the 10 magical diagnostic outputs from the gauge? I'm sure it wouldn't be in PSI, but if you knew what it was on a sled functioning correctly you could use it to compare.
Make sure your battery is fully charged. Check that your battery cables are tight. Make sure your spark plug boots are on fully.
Mine was doing the same thing. I charged the battery over night. dealer tightened the battery cables and found a plug boot not on all the way. Ever since then it has been running flawless.
May not be the case with your, but it was on mine. Worth a try.
Did you notice any other symptoms? I predict that the plug boost not being seating caused the issue. Did it idle poorly or anything?
Yes. Not only was it not pulling enough RPM, it was starting hard and back firing.
The reduced RPM was from the sled going into limp mode from low voltage code.
No codes picked it up from dealer and they found nothin and gave it back to me. I will check plug wires and battery cables

Well ya... but I did not know that at the time. I do know that now. I rode my sled the day after I picked it up back in December. I didn't have it for several days, weeks or months prior. There is a learning curve with these sleds. There wasn't a whole lot of knowledge of the sleds at the time on the forums. We learn and pass it on through Snowest. That's what we're here for. Just passing along my .02
The ignition pulls a ton of volts from the battery and the charging system can't keep up. I charge my battery on a trickle charger the night before I ride.

Shouldn't these sleds charge them selfs up if any is charging is needed?? Brand new battery should last least one season I would think.
My understanding is that it is using all the possible charging power to run the system at max rpm.
So if your not doing any trail riding your not actually charging the battery.
