11' ProRMK metal shavings in exhaust port boot?

Has anyone ever seen this when cleaning your exhaust ports? I pulled off the rubber boot thingy, and there was metal shavings inside the boot?

I don't remember any rubber boot thingy on the exhaust system. Pretty sure it would melt.

That was actually my first thought. I was hoping he would explain what he's dealing with in a little more detail. There are some smart people here that like to help. Like you for example.
