11' Clutch Setup

I have an 11' Pro looking to setup my clutch since I am adding a Dynoport y-pipe, pipe, and big barker can, V-Force3 Reed valves. I have 10-58 weights, stock 140/330 spring on the primary clutch, and RAMP-DRVN(56/42/36)LWER Helix, Black/Purple Spring. Rich at Dynoport told me that most guy just add 1 gram of weight after putting his setup on. Any other info would be great from guys that have more experience then I do, this is my first snowmobile, 3rd year of riding, and like most guys, I want MORE PONIES. Most of my riding is done in 8000+ ft in Centennial, WY but i do live in Nebraska and do some riding here (1000 ft).

I guess while I was typing what my setup was I forgot to ask people what I wanted. I was hoping for some input on setting up my clutch and how to set it up.

I experimented with about a dozen clutch set-ups over the length of the season and found that spinning the pro motor at 7,950 to 8,100 is where you want to be. Polaris hit the nail on the head with their book recommendations and that is what you're currently running. The only thing you may want to change is to give a set of 10-60's a try especially if you're seeing +8,100 at elevation. Some guys who ride 6,000' to 8,000' have had good success running a couple degree steeper helix. Another set-up I was working with last spring that was giving excellent high elevation results was changing the belt to a 3211122 (cheaper with excellent longevity) and running the lighter stock secondary spring (7043063) with 10-60's. This set-up didn't fade as bad at high elevation (11,000') as the stock set-up. Don't bother trying the 3211122 with the black/purple secondary, it will turn 8,200 r's all the way to 11,000' and all your buddies will blow your doors off.
