Right behind that sled is wilderness. The forest service was up there last year and pointed it out to us just as we were about to head over there.. It is a hard place to know if you are where you are supposed to be or not.

If you ride there for sure get a good map and better yet have a good gps with you and know exactly where you are at.

straight back and to left is what I was told is wilderness...tracks in the back ground are legal but if you start heading to left you will be outside of the legal area.

here is a pic from that ZoNE.. taken from almost the same vantage point where my sled is in.. i think christian is right. a little further over like where these ski tracks are and drop down into is wilderness

Yeah, that matches what is on the map. The wilderness boundary seems to follow the top of the ridgeline. Regardless, hopefully everyone does their best to educate themselves and takes responsibility for their own actions...

Nice pics!

The only thing missing would be a rider in a carve with an awesome mullet!!

Bad A$$ Pic bro

just don't end up in Canada and you won't have any problems.

Border patrol dont F'k around up there.... they got some bad sleds will hunt you down.... they will even issue tickets in the parking lot, like not properly marking your snow parking pass....My writing faded and I got a ticket...I NOW USE A BLACK MARKER;) Bastards...

Those sleds in the picture posted by Lushbomb are SITTING on the wilderness boundary. Look at a "greentrails" map and it is evident. All the tracks past are in the wilderness, but there are always tracks out there. Hell, some people even ride to Winchester...
