I have 10T 2.52 pitch on my 05 1000. I really want to keep these drivers, but I cannot find a track with 2.5" lug height in the 2.52 pitch. Does anybody know the diameter of the 9T 3.0 pitch drivers? (Avid?)

With my 2" track I have 1" of clearance in the tunnel, with the 10T. I want to go to a 2.5" track, and keep the driver diameter close to the same. 1/2" clearance should be enough shouldn't it?

10 tooth 2.52/9t 3.0 diameter

To figure the dia of all drivers. No of teeth * pitch. and that is divided by 3.1416. Should be close.

According to that formula

10T x 2.52P = 8.021" Diameter
9T x 3.0 P = 8.594" Diameter

The 9T 3.0 is 1/2" bigger? If this is true, then I will probably need to go with

9T x 2.86p = 8.193" Diameter. It's a hair bigger than my 10T, but it should still fit a 2.5" lug height track. Anybody running this? (05 RT)

Was there a sled that ran the 9T 2.86P drivers from the factory? How hard will it be to find a used set?

I was just about to put that formula....# of teath multiplied by pitch (2.52, 2.86, 3) divided by pie (3.1416)

any 2.86 driver I have seen has been an 8 tooth, which is pretty much the same as a 9 tooth 2.52 in dia.

hope that is some sort of help
