1000 Thundercat in 1m chassis

Just like the title says I am in the middle of doing this swap. Just a couple questions.

What mount should I use on the Jackshaft bearing mount? I don't have the 1000 motor out of the chassis yet and this may become more obvious.

What are my options for pipes? I doubt the stockers will fit in there. I know Jaws builds conversion pipes but does anyone know the cost? Are there any other options?

Rest of the swap seems fairly staight forward, but any further advice would be appreciated.

Use the jackshaft bearing mount from a 600 1M. It will fit the 1000 triple motor. As for pipes, I don't know on the cost.

What year would I look at? I have looked at every year from 2000 - 2003 and all the jackshaft mounts look the same as what I have.

you'll need a 2003 or 2004 Mountain Cat 600 mount. There's not a lot of difference, but the jackshaft location is moved slightly. If you didn't have them right next to each other, you may not notice the difference.

The AC part number is: 0708-404

I just did some looking on the parts books and there are different part numbers on the motor mount and jackshaft mount but I am pretty sure I have interchanged them. According to the picture in the parts books there is a difference in the hole where the torque bumper goes, one is a hole the other a slot. In any case I have a 0708-404 bracket from an 03 600 1M. List price new is about $52 depending on where you get it. How about $35 shipped? It does have a crack where the grease zerk threads in but that would not affect how it works. By the way I am Idcatman3s Dad.
