1000 rt troubles

My buddy purchased a '05 1000 rt. Had troubles starting it and was told to change the battery to ensure the fuel pump is working. He changed the battery and it started fine. Now again it is tough starting. Anyone had this problem or know what may cause this.

Make sure you check all the fuses.......there's a bunch.

Could be the fuel pump---weak (not putting out enough pressure). Doo did have problems with some of the pumps.

Right arm, thanks guy's. This will give us a start. If fuses are a common problem, a guy should be carrrying a few spares at all times.

Never had a fuse problem--I have had a relay go bad--carry spare relay for sure. But have the pump checked.
