1000 rt 162 summit suspension

have above sled just got it it is fast and powerful, heavy. seemed to be set up soft on front and rear suspension. im 250 lbs i stiffened up the front shocks. trying to get it to turn better. i ride powder but also ride 5 to 10 miles on trail to get to the area we ride . just looking for imput on setting this up right. mostly for hillclimb but would like to ride it around also. maybe skis???? help and thanks
ps skis are set on wide stance

At 250--I would set the front shocks at least 4.5 to 5--also flip them over if this is a X model. It does make a difference.
I have my skis on the inside spacing, if you have the factory skis on---JUNK them. Get what ever ski you like the looks of. I ride with MOD's on both my Doo's--not the best on trail--but rock off the trail!!

For the rear--front shock not to stiff--you want the track to come up on the snow and the rear springs all the way up probabley--if to stiff, bring them down one notch.

Actually Tetonice would be good for you to ask about his setup on suspension--he is about the same size and seems to have his 1000 rocking.
