10" riser on 07 rev; throttle extension?

i have 07 Summit 800 and i wanna put 10" risers on it. Do you have to extend the throttle and brake lines to do this? Thanks!

Is your '07 a X? If it is, you can get away with out cable extentions. Just be gentle when installing the risers. And if you do need the extentions, be sure to follow ALL the assembly instructions.

it is not the x model. it is an adren. model. I was under the assumption that the x and adren and xrs models all have the same factory riser?

I put a 4" riser on mine and although I don't ride the trails any more than I have to to get to the play areas, I feel like I'm ridin' a chopper with ape hangers on it when I do !

Are you using the straight bars or the Adrenaline bars?
The Adrenaline bars have about a 5" rise in them over the straight bars already.

You must be using the X style......Nevermind!

ok, i'm not looking to ADD another 10 inches to whats there! I want to take off the stock 8"? riser and put a 10" riser on it. It has the alum. block style stock riser on it right now and i want to take that off and put on the 10" powermadd riser. I'm sure people have done this and i just wanna know if i have to extend my cables or not.

I have 9.5" on mine. Throttle will be fine. You may need to reroute the brake line or get a longer one.

I put a 9.25 riser on my adrenaline with renthal bars for a total of 13 inches from center to center. Stock cables and a little re-routing. It can be done

I put a 10 inch rise on my XRS last year and I didnt have to add any extensions

I put on the 10" riser last year too, no problems, there was plenty of slack in all of the lines to work ok.

i had a 10 in riser on my 07 adr and it fit fine you can go with a 12in if you wanted to plenty of slack im sellin my 10in powermadd if you want 30 bucks used 3 times

i have the XP 8" with 2" rise on my bars = 10 inshes total
throttle cable, lotsa room , brake cABLE NOT SO MUCH
and i have the X package

you can try to re-route yours, should fit, but you wont know till u try

You should be fine. theres enough slack that you should be able to make it. like enis750 said you might be able to re run your lines to pick up alittle extra

I use the 10" powermadd risers on my 07 Summit 151 X like what you are wanting to use, and did not need extensions, I think you should be fine with the adrenaline, I don't believe there was a difference, but I am not positive.
