10/29/09 First Ride of the Year

Conifer reported 42" out of the storm, Rollinsville 40", Evergreen 41". Where did we end up going? Guanella pass, with the thought there would be a good 3'-4' of snow up there. Skunked! No more than 2" of snow on the ground and the sun was shining bright when we drove up the road. So, we turned around and headed back to Rollinsville and slayed the goodness.














Night before we took a ride down to the local gas station to fill 'er up:

Sure looks like global warming to me, SUCK it Al Gore.

We are jealous up here in WA, wish I was riding...

lol!
