Can't wait for the absolute catastrophe and huge crisis situation. Will be glued to the weather Channel tomorrow watching all the excitement. I recommend not leaving home without a personal shovel, probe and Beacon along with adequate supply of food, water and fire starter. canceling or rescheduling of all events is a must! Do not leave home without friends and family knowing your travel plans.The storm now even has a name. Jonas. Sounds masculine and devastating.

Now they are now claiming 24" in DC. It will be on the news for the next couple days everywhere. If Missoula got 24" of snow, no one in DC would even hear of it. Mostly because they don't even know where Montana is. I guess they are lucky it's not the first of the month. They wouldn't be able to get their welfare checks and food stamps on time if it were.

This is what we in Eastern Oregon think about Portland. It's funny to hear the weather guy warn everybody that it might be below freezing this morning while you look outside to a foot of snow and 10* weather....
