09 XP Multifunction Digital Display

Was out in the garage this afternoon playing with the wifes new Xp and noticed I can't get the Top RPM function (max rpm reached) to come up on the display. It seems like everything else is working but that. Anyone else have this problem?

Also noticed I'm missing the Mode button (soft rubber) on the dash, the Set button is there but no Mode button.

Looks like I'll be calling my dealer tomorrow.:(

The max RPM feature is gone on the 09's and was removed on my 08 during the recent reflash to other gauge issues. The RPM's only show in 100's also instead of 50 increments.

Why do they show it in the 2009 owners manual as still bring there?

Seems like you would want to know what your max rpm's were

Did they also remove the Mode button from the dash for 09?

The Reflash (upgrade) elimainated max rpm playback on all that I know of in my circle. Only reason that I have yet to get the so called upgrade done yet...

Ya, our 09 doesnt have the max rpm function but it does have the mode button on the console. I heard through the grapevine that this was because the max rpm readout was leading people in the wrong direction for tuning.....What a load of horsesh@t!!! It was one of the only usable tuning features of the gauge.

Thanks For The Help Guys

Yep, talked with my dealer today about the Mode button on the dash and it shoulda been there, so thier going to order me up one.

Funny thing was that when I told him about the max RPM not coming up on the guage he had no idea it was deleted by Doo. Told em I found out from some return post on SW, looks like he should become a member of SW :D:D
