Mine is fairly easy on the cement floor. But when I get on a groomed trail (I know get off it) that is when it is hard to steer. I made your recomended adjustments and am riding tomorrow. Am hoping this helps.

Dropping the front arm down and back was the biggest improvement I have seen so far. I might try a longer shock soon. Moving the arm made it more controllable on the hill with the skis air born. Before it was all over the place. I was skeptical about the handling characteristics of the sled at first, because I'm going to turbo it, and was concerened it would be out of control under boost, but it's coming along now. It's still not as smooth as my TM-7, but I have to get back on a Ski-Doo.:D CATS!!!:mad::mad:

I have adjusted the shocks up down and my steering is still hard. Right now I have the center shock all the way out and the ski shocks are also all the way out. Still really hard to steer. I have Simmons skis if that matters. This setup is the best I've had but still hard. The track is a 154 does that have an effect on it? Please help.

Throw those simmons at some lackey and go buy some powder hounds (sly dogs) and your problem will go away. :D

True, when you drop the front swing arm mount or lengthen the front skid shock, the sled will wheelie way more. To then tighten the limiter strap, defeats the changes. This is the the fault of the rear suspension and the weight transfer to it. Daryl Baker at racers Edge is making nice rear upgrades that are similar to a m-10 suspension. I don't want to spend the money to do this mod so I am experimenting with what BRP gave us. You must remember that when you drop the front swing arm mount, it now carries much more weight so the rear springs are now adequate and the rear sag gets eliminated. If you then crank your rear springs to 5, it stops the the rear from collapsing when climbing or accelerating. Now just adjust your front skid spring to get a nice light feel. Too hard and the sled will roll and won't corner, too soft and It's not much better than stock. Many will be happy and leave it at that. some may run the spring pretty hard and put the stabilizer bar back in. I am running the limiter strap in the stock center setting.

I tried Wyoming's fix and it is a bit better. I will tighten the center shock the rest of the way and see where that leaves me.
As far as the powder hounds go by riding partner bought a set for his M8 and has put the Simmons back on not a happy camper with those skis and he has been riding 40 years.
