The black plastic rivets to the guard where you see the tabs around the circ on the outside of the guard and the brace rivets to the front where the quard hooks on to the mount down by the primary. Just not sure of the orientation of the brace, should be pretty obvious though. But just install the brace on the front, dont install the plastic shroud. It retains heat fron the clutches, the more air flow and venting the better on this clutch setup.

Cheers

i put the little bracket on because i had the right size rivets but i dont have the little rivet washers neccesary to put on the plastic shroud. the guy i got it from says the clutch would sum times rub on the body pannel. can any one comfirm this? do you run yours with out the shroud?

The shroud was one of the first things to get ripped off the machine when it arrived hm. I heard they do rub but didn't wait to find out.

He is talking about the side panel of the sled, not the plastic shroud or the clutch gaurd.

The answer to your question is yes. If you lay the machine over in harder snow the clutch will start to rub on the inside of the panel.
