09 RMK 600 tips for seating injectors into fuel rail?

After rebuilding my sled and breaking it in i discovered a fuel leak from one of my injectors. The upper black injector O ring for the Fuel rail had a slight nick from installation. Picked up some new O rings and im having trouble reinstalling them into the rail, I fought these for a long time the first time i reinstalled everything and am wondering if anyone has found an easier way to do this? I put a little bit of VES gold on the ring as well as the rail hoping it would help it slide in but the O rings are very solid. I also tried lightly heating the o ring so it was more pliable but l am still unable to get everything back together.

Any pointers?

Thanks in advance

Just make sure that you are lubing them up and installing them straight in, you probably have the angle wrong.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Lube up the o rings really good and install them into the fuel rail first, then push the assembly into the engine and install and tighten the allen bolts.

Well it didn't help that the O rings were new and that i had to install them in unheated conditions but after a fight i got them in.
thanks for the tips guys!
