09 rails on 05 M7.

I would think so. might have to make 1 or 2 new holes. I put a set of 07's on my 05 M7 and they where dang close.

I guess I'll find out.

Thanks, we'll try it and see if I find some rails. Anyone else know of this being done?

Just do it :)
We did similar setup to my pal's CF 8 SP -07. We used -07 rails and float converstion and it was bolt on stuff. We had to change rear suspension tunnel rear brackets to M style but you already have those. Get the conversion too, it's worth the money. I put float conversion and 141" into my CF 7 SP -06. Had also change the brackets but everything was just bolt on stuff.

I wouldn't do it. The suspension is totally different. Only small modifications from 05-07, but from 08-09 are very different. I just tried to put 08 rails on my 07 and am very nervous about doing it. PM me if you have questions or want pictures.

Rails are fine, but there is really no place for the front of the torsion springs to mount to the rail.

What's the float conversion and who makes it? Would all the headache go away if I could find a whole 08-09 skid to stick under it. If that makes it simple....anyone have a 08-09 153" skid for sale. Not that I'm scared of a little work and figuring things out, just might make more sense to go that road. And thanks for the input so far.

Float conv is AC accessory and you can find it from AC shop etc. Good product for powder. It comes with both arms and rear float shock + needed other stuff. You need front shock from old skid.
