09 Nytro XTX with 1.75 backcountry

OK, I bought a backcountry track for my XTX and before I get started with the swap I need to know a couple of things: 1) Do I need to remove the tunnel protectors or not(I have read mixed things on this), 2) Do I need to shave some off my front rail caps when I install anti rachet drivers? Any advice and tips greatly apprieciated. And is there anything else i need to know about doing this.

i would take the tunnel protectors out. unless your going to run studs. also you might have to gear it.

Yes to both your questions. I just did a 2" challenger install with Avid's. Check on TY for more info.

Yes take them out for sure. They just hold ice anyway with stock track and must come out for bigger track for sure.

Tunnel protectors definately have to come out, you will also have to cut the ones off on the front cooler as well. You will most likely have to trim yours rails/rail caps a bit. Just a heads-up. Most guys lose their mind when I charge them 3-4 hours to do a track swap. It aint that easy. Let us know if you have any questions or run into any snags. Cody
