09 nytro! riser block angles?

just got my 09 nytro today. already stripped all the decals off of it, ripped out all the foam, cut my windshield and painted it black and painted my grills red. going to the mtns for the first time ever nov. 7th. cant wait!

the only thing im having trouble is is that i want to change the angle of my bars so there more forward. ive herd of wildchild's kit and cr racing also has one but i was wondering if there is any easier way. im sure the stock block would be tall enough for me if it was just at a different angle. any body got any tips? thanks

Ole's Machine makes a riser that is angled forward 30 degrees. Look here... LINK

I have a 6" angled, brand new in the box for $50 shipped.

Wildchild's kit is easy to install and it does make a big difference in my opinion. The directions lead you through the process. Just be careful not to drop any of the fasteners or they will end up in the belly pan. I learned this the hardway. You will have to re-align you steering, but this was not a big deal as I was already changing the toe-out.

If you dont want to do the steering relocate, the Powermad Pivot is an easy install. Then you can use any riser you want (Powermadd, Fly, etc...).

Do a search...this topic has come up a couple of times.

If you dont change the angle of the post it's going to steer awkward and like Chit. Yamy needs to learn for a rider forward sled to have there post (from stock) be more verticle, horizontal sucks arse.

You pivot that, and have the bars moved more forward and when your fully turned one arm's at shoulder height and the others at knee height.............

Yeah your pivot isnt in line anymore, and your bars will tend to steer more like a round hump, or like a half moon shape, and it sux!

build youre own it took me an hour and a trip to home depot , personally i think both kits move the bars to far forword half way between stock and there postions was good for me

A pivot riser or angled riser alone will not fix the problem, been there done that. You have to relocate the post forward to increase the angle of the post. The difference is night and day. I still have my pivot riser on but actually ended up bringing it slightly back. You can make your own brackets pretty easily or just buy a kit as they don't cost much.

3 bolts and 2 flat aluminum pieces,i used a piece of square tubing to reinforce, but a piece of pipe would work too.i lift 1.75 inches, that was the distance started to touch my plastic.big difference!also you need to realighn the steering a little to one side.total cost 6 dollars.
