I have heard (very little) about the 09 Maverrick track beind updated from the 08. Supposisvly the 09 have stiffer lugs. Anyone have an 09 in the garage that can confirm this.

Yes, by the touch they feel stiffer, we have something called "snowmobiles day" here in Sweden this weekend, the dealers has a "open house" both saturday and sunday, where snowmobile nerds get together and talk about this winters adventures to come, new purchase, modifications, and so on, and the dealers have put out all the new sleds for try, sadly we have no snow to drive on yet so it has only been "dry driving" so far, but the tech people at the Yamaha dealer said that the track is made of a new compund this year because almost everyone thought that the track been to soft before.
Good, one less thing on my list that would to have be changed b4 I would buy one.

Ditto, many times i can't understand how Yamaha thinks, worlds easiest thing for them to copy a nice tunnel design, instead they come up with something nobody likes, hope they listen to our thoughts on this as they seem to have done with the track (or could it be bacause the warranty issues), we can only hope.
