09 M8 full system?

Just bought a 09 M8 sp and was wondering what full exhaust system works best for these sleds, I ride between 3000' - 9000', already bought the bd box, and a speedwerx air intake, just need the exhaust.

RKT kit

I would throw the boondocker box in the garbage, buy the RKT kit comes with head and base gasket...15-20hp increase running stock ECU & pipe...trust me you will have WAY more fun!

i went sw pipe and can, most shops or whatever will sugest you try to keep them all one brand for best compatability

Is there any issues with the RKT kit, it says that it was built to go with the stock pipe system, would it work well with a full system

RKT head kit works great. You will not get much gains out of aftermarket pipe, stock pipe works well. I would get a can however we went with the Super Q Can which works great on the m8 and 1000. If i was going to install pipe i would go with the speedwerx just to reduce weight

I run slp system and love it. Have had no problems with it and you don't have to run a box above 3000 feet. Also i have seen sw pipe blowing out pipe sensors on the m8's. Jmo

I have the RKT porting and head on my 07 M8. I am going to try the SLP single on my 09 M8. Hopefully it will not be to long and I will be able to tell you which set up I like better

Boondocker box

I don't know what all these problems people are having with Boondocker boxes.

I had an old style one on my 06 M7. Never had problems. Worked great and was super consistent with EGTs.

I would buy another in a heartbeat.

From what I've heard, the SLP pipe and RKT kit is a good bet. I would think you would need a fuel controller for both.

I'm looking at an 09 M8 myslef and thinking the same mods.

I thought this kit was a great idea last year, new pistons/head/base gasket.
The only person that I heard of using it was Kelsey hilself. So are you running it or just reading off the website????
I've got RKT porting and Head with SLP pipe and boondocker box.
The sled flat out runs with this setup. The SLP single was the biggest lone gain, followed by the porting/head and a bd box is a must if you want to tune it.

I've got another 08 M8 that I just put together with SLP pipe/SLP porting/RKT head (got the cut head by slp as well) boondocker box and cutler secondary. Just a little more time and we'll be lining them up!!!
