'09 M8 - bottom motor mount/snubber fell off???

I was installing a tether on my M8 today in prep for a GREAT season, and discovered a chunk of metal and rubber wedged down by the drive clutch, against the bottom of the belly pan... I finally got it out, and discovered that it's the bottom snubber from the PTO side of the engine, which should have been riveted to the side brace...

Has anybody else had this thing fall off? I see I can't buy just the snubber... Great.

My snubber has a fairly shiny area where the motor has been rubbing into it, and on the opposite side, a fairly chewed area where the clutch rubbed it after it fell off. I guess I could re-use it, but I'd rather start with a fresh one...

It popped out the bottom of the belly pan under the clutch too... So I get to fix that as well...

I may buy a new side plate and drill out the rivets and use 1/4" bolts to hold it on. Then again, this one made it 3500 miles, so perhaps I should just replace it and move on... Better check the other mounts too I guess, and replace any that seem worn.

Thoughts or experiences appreciated...

I've had mine fall off a couple times because I was using garbage rivets that I got at the hardware store. Put some good quality US made rivets in there and it hasn't been an issue since.

Isn't the circled part in the pic just the rubber bumper for the pipe to rest on? Looking at the part diagram thats what it is on my sled, certainly not the end of the world. If there is enough of it left, just rivet it back on and go.

I couldn't see where it went in the trailer, so brought it in to see if it would show up on the diagrams...
I was hoping it wasn't from my sled, but there it is... If it only supports the exhaust, I'm going to drill out the holes and bolt it back on. :)

Thanks for the good news!!!
