09 M8 Boondockers...HELP PLEASE!

A friend of mine just bought d&d y-pipe, single pipe, and the boondockers fuel box for his '09 M8. We were puting the box on last night, and i started to dink around with it. What is everyone using for settings? Because I had a hard time figure that thing out! He will be at elavations less than 3000ft.
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!
Kyle

When we plugged it in and started the sled, it said injector error. For the settings on the d&d website, do you put them all in? or just the elevation you are running at?
Let me know

Thanks!

Those numbers are RPM ranges not elevations. You should have 3000, 5000, 6700, 7800 and 8100. All should have a hi, med and lo. The tr on the end is to add and subtract fuel to the mag side I believe. Not positive on the side but it's to get the egt's on each cylinder even. You should probably down load the instructions for the box and tuning off Boondockers website before you go much farther.

Usually an injector error is due to a bad ground or lack thereof. Check the ground eyelet and make sure it has a good clean connection.

Only use the settings for your elevation.

:)

thats wierd, cause it says 0-8000 FT right on the directions...

What does the TR mean? should we be puting any numbers in for that? or just play with it up or down once the snow flys?

The trim adds or subtracts fuel from the mag side. Put your numbers in for your elevation and check your plugs several times during your first ride at the various RPM.
There is a learning curve with the box that everybody goes through, but once you figure it out it's easy.
