S swashbukler Free Member Dec 30, 2009 #1 Okay so my 09 M1000 if you shut it off after running for awhile it wont re start unless you put a power source of some sort to it . Put a new fuel pump on and it worked great for a day and then did the same thing any ideas would help a lot

M mtn mike on boost Well-known member Dec 30, 2009 #2 reverse polarity to the pump. it may take a few tries.once the pump is working again, drain and clean your tank and the pick up and smart valves...mm p/s if that doesnt work , and your pump is bad, i have a used one for sale...
