09 IQ shift heat exchanger

I cannot see the heat exchanger from below the tunnel. Is this something
new? There is some heat when touching the bottom of the tunnel.

The heat exchanger is built into the tunnel.

There is a heat exchanger or better called a bulkhead cooler inthe front of the tunnel..I am guessing this is what you refer to.
