I was trying to search for the 09 flash part # but have not found it. Does anybody have it? I have the 2010 up dated pistons, head, barrels and the re flash. It was suggested to me that I go back to the 09 flash and it would work better for me with the BD PG turbo kit with the mini cooler. Since the update it idles rough and hard starting when hot. I adjusted the BD box and got it to idle better but still harder to start when hot. Plus it doesn't pull like it use to.

Thanks for the information. I like to be prepared and know what I need before I go to the dealer. Because some times they play stupid and have never heard about what you are asking for.

If you are not sure what injector color you have you can look on your ecu or look down on the wires feeding the injectors and there should be a plastic band around them about 1/2 wide with the color of injectors you have.

Ridgeclimber,
I saw that your from ridge meadows, so I assume you deal sea to sky?
If that's the case I was in there last week arguing with the service manager for 1/2 hour over flashes. After he insisted that there was no flashe updates for my sled, he finally decided to take my machine off the trailer to check n lone behold there was an update flash for it, like I was telling him for half n hr.
I hate going there because I feel like I'm informing them on things.
I always call Carls if I have doubts about my machine n then I have to go tell the dealer here.
I wanted the jan14 flash for my sled and carls said it was available for my sled... Sea to sky on the other hand said it isn't..
So eventually I got the April flash. The dealer wasn't really getting it .
I hate dealing with them but don't have much choice.
I have a feeling he is going to tell you that you can't have that flash cuz it's to old. And bla bla bla...
Post back on here and Let me know what he says when u take it in for the flash.

Yes that is correct, I have been dealing with Sea to Sky. They have been good to me over thew years and have helped me out every time. I just talk directly with the owners Laurie or Tammy. I think the problem lately is they have a bunch of new staff in there now. I know the service manager they have now is new. The part persons are all new. So that doesn't help when you don't have experienced people to support you. If I have any technical problems or need help with turbo tuning we have been going up to Kellowna for help. We go see Dr. Johnny, he used to own the Polaris dealer in Kellowna but now he just builds mod sleds out of his house. He is a great guy and has a world of knowledge.

John is very helpful, I've called him numerous times. Myself.
I wanna take my 8 to him once my warrantys done to turbo.
He seems to know the tricks on t800's . How has yours run? Spot on pull n go?

turbo tuning

I installed the turbo kits on mine and my cousins sleds. Then we went up to see Johnny. We went for a ride with him up to Greystokes. He had them both tune in in about 10 -15 minutes. We haven't had to touch them since, except for I had to lower my high psi # 1 when I switched to av gas. He is the guy to go see if you want anything done. He is glad to help you and he knows what works. He is pretty busy though. That is the secret to the mod sleds lasting, is the tuning. Weather it is porting, big bores or turboing but he has done it all and they last.
