09 exhaust??

Has anybody had a problem with their mbrp can coming out of the hole in the belly pan and actually melting the belly pan?

I went riding this weekend and about 40 miles into my ride i stopped and checked oil and the can was in but when I put it in the garage there was exhaust coming out by my foot so I opened my panel and the can and worked its way out of the hole and melted and deformed my belly pan

i haven't check mine. did you use the 2 springs extenders they gave you. i had a hell of a time getting my can in the hole.

mine didnt come with an extender. i was able to link to springs together. and it was a sob to get in the hole but finally did get it.

just yesterday there was a guy in the skidoo section that asked the same question his son melted belly pan and side panel.

ya some fit and some don't.. i shaved my hole open a little bit larger with a file and i'v had no problems, i got just over 200K on mine now.
