09 Dragon Spark Plugs?

Just picked up some spare plugs the other day from my dealer, they gave me an NGK BPR9ES. I notice that the plugs that are in it, the ones it originally came with are NGK BPR9EIX. Wondering if the ones they gave me are a suitable replacement or if I should stick to the ones it originally came with? Also wondering if I should be checking the gap on them, if so what should it be, or would they be gapped correctly to start with?

The Iridium's are highly rec'd for the CFI motors due to their design, the high fuel to air ratio's they run and their issues with detonation from todays fuels. All the major players are recommending them as do I. If you're running an older sled carb'd or 700/900, then the regular plugs are fine.

What happened to the previous post? The "EIX" refer to the plug being Iridium. I would stay with them.
