09 dragon 800 Idiling very high! Need help

Buddy of mine has an 09 dragon 800. Sled has 1400 miles. Bought it with 1200 miles. The sled ran fine when he bought it. Later on when he was riding it, it started running weird. Now when he starts it it Idles really high Rpms. I've never seen one of these sleds do this. Anyone have any idea on what it could be? We're lost and don't know where to start. We've checked throttle cable and stuff like that but that wasn't it. Any info would help. Thanks!

Inspect closely with a flashlight

Sounds like it's sucking air somewhere
