09 DPM problems

I have a 09 x 800R with about 65 miles, the sled had developed a "flat spot", when accelerating, the sled would start smoothly and run fine then you push the throttle to ask for more power nothing would happen, push some more, nothing, a little more then wammo, she would catch and take off like a striped ape. It was really hard to manage the throttle. I took it into the dealer who put it on a dyno and determined the dpm manifold was leaking. They fixed it and I picked it up today. I hope this helps anyone with similar issues, P.S. other than this issue I just love the sled. It fits me better than any other I have ever ridden. This is a good sled for a tall guy !!

start it and tap the silver selonoid above the carbs --they have been sticking on several sled new

Yep, mine did it too. We just took the DPM out and sprayed the chit out of it with WD40. Works like a charm now.
