09 D8 should pipe or not

I bought a used 09 D8 that is just getting the 2010 update done. I bought a PC V and a SLP pipe but the dealer said not to put the pipe on, they only had 1 go done and it had a pipe. It didn't sound like it had a PC V. I ride at 1750ft. So now what to do? Any suggestions. With the PC V should I be concerned.

If the PCV file is for the SLP pipe then I wouldn't worry about it. Most the ones you are hearing about going down are low elevation sleds with stock programming and the slp single.

I have an 08 with the Slp pipe and a PC111, runs great!! If you have the fuel controller you can add the extra fuel you need with the pipe.

I ride from sea level up..been running the slp single since jan 08..almost 3000 miles..sled has about 400 miles on the 10 update....no fuel controller....runs excellent...
