I have been having a weird problem with my sled. While riding it will just die at random, almost like the kill switch was hit. Sled runs good and then just dies. All my guages still work, havn't noticed them going out. No check engine lights or anything. As soon as it dies it will start right back up on the first pull everytime. Tried adjusting the throttle cable tension up and down but this didnt seem to help. Im thinking maybe a faulty ignition switch or a short in the kill switch somewhere??? I have no clue, really sucks when you dont dare ride cuz your sled keeps shutting off.

Disconnect your kill switch and see if it continues.
I thought about the throttle safety switch but I could not get the engine to die by pushing down on the throttle, wonder if there is a way to bybass that switch.
Anyone else have this problem?
I had similar problems but i would loose my guages. would get it to restart and run for a second then die.....pulled my ecm off and found black residue on the mounting plate......failed voltage regulator and fried ecm....i would pull your ecm off and see if there is some residue or if it stinks. By the way you have a year of "good will" warranty after your 1 year of regular warranty is done just on the vr and ecm.
Talked to me dealer and he said that he has seen this before and it was the ignition switch, ill have to unhook it and see if the problem stops. Taking it in to the dealer tomorrow to hook it up to the computer to check things out...I hope its just somethin stupid.
