09 800 dragon, will not idle. Otherwise runs great

Like the title says, sled will not idle all of a sudden. I have had over 3000 trouble free miles on this sled, now it doesn't want to idle. Always used to idle at like 1700 rpm, now lucky to get 1200, and it drops so low that the guages shut off. Idles fine with a little throttle. And it actually does idle fine sometimes, and when it is cold.

Kind of weird that this would start all of a sudden so it makes me think it is a sensor of some kind, no check engine light. Runs like a top otherwise. Have read a bunch here on sw that it could be a voltage regulator or tps sensor. Just wanted to start my own thread so if anyone else has had these exact same symptoms they could help me out.

And I want something intelligent to say to the dealership when I take it in because I don't really know too much about the computer side of these things (and I'm not sure they do either).

had the same problem with mine; the cable adjust screw on the throttle bodies had backed off and with engine vibration, the hollow bolt that the throttle cable goes through loosened up, shutting the TB's further than they used too....adjusted the nut, good to go again.

I think I found the problem, the little cable adjuster just down from the throttle was a little loose. I adjusted the idle with that and seemed to solve the problem, at least in the driveway, Ill see how she does on the hill.

Same thing happened to mine after i changed the steering post out. Im thinking my throttle cable is loose as well. Going to tear it apart and investigate tomorrow.
