Upgrading from a 01 700 rmk, looking for a 09 or newer 600 155. Thinking it will be comparable in power. Don't ride at elevation home base is lake effect snow belt on the south shore of Lake Superior, do not ride the trails, reason for the 155, but the 144 on the 700 left me wanting more at times.everybody says 800, gotta have a 800. Just looking for any thoughts from people with experience with the newer 600's.

Power is a bit less than the BB700 but with CFI it will be spot on for fuel mixture all the time as opposed to carbs. If your ego will allow you to ride 'just a 600' I think you will like it.

Retired is right. Dump the ego. I love my 600's. Just snowchecked a new one and will sell my 2010 600 155.

They plain work. It is a good sled that you will enjoy for years.

I also love my 600, well be selling after this season only to upgrade to the new pros. Another thing is if you get a 600 you'll know you got a motor that well run like a top, unlike the few problems with some 800s

Quick question, did polaris make a 155 600 in 08 and what was the first year they were fuel injected 08 or 09? Difference between regular and H.O motors. Thanks for the info.

The 2008 600 rmk 155 were fuel injected, they also made a 600rmk shift that I think was carbed in 2008. I went from a 2000 700 rmk 136 to 2010 600 rmk 144, the only difference I really noticed is the 700 big block seemed to have more torque. The ride and deep snow manuverability more than made up for the torque.

Do the pro 600's have the front cooler?Located a 2012 600 pro with 1072 miles for 6800. I'am thinking I need the front cooler living where I live and ride.

I figured as much , guess the pros are out. Located a 2010 700 155 with 1800 or so miles kinda interested in this one don't hear a lot of negatives about the 700 motors but don't need to rush it is spring.

7 hundy is a solid engine... Safe bet. I wouldn't rule out the PRO. Leaps and bounds over the IQ. I think with the scratchers down you should be okay, plus the RMK/ SHIFT/Dragon IQ doesnt have a front cooler either in them after 2006-2007...model pending.

IMO, I think there are better deals out there than $6800 for a 600 PRO especially this time of year. Like you said, summer time and no rush will be in your favor for a great buy. It's a buyers market now.......get a PRO! It's already a 5 year old sled. If you buy an IQ your are already in the equivellant to your GEN II when the PRO changes again.

Agree, not a lot of rmk's sitting in dealer lots in Northern wi which makes them worth more here so they tell me.Dealer wants 5400 for the 700,located another 2012 600 pro for 6300 for 900 bucks more I think the pro would be a no brainer going to keep my eye on these two see if they drop any.

I live over by Duluth and have a 2012 RMK 600 155" I am looking to sell. The sled is the standard RMK 600 in the Pro chassis that has the front cooler. Give me a call or text at (218)269-344O if you are interested and I will forward you some photos. Thanks!
