09 600 144 rmk which secondary spring with currents modifications?

My 2009 600 144 rmk now has almost 4000 miles on it and i feel i am long due replacing the secondary spring. My sled has all modifications listed in my signature as well as a blue pink spring and 64g weights in the primary. The sled is ridden at flat land elevations 98% of the time and im wondering if i should replace it with the same spring thats in there or a different one? What type of improvments could i expect with a different secondary spring with current modifications?

Thanks for looking

Black/purple spring works great in mine. Don't forget to add the delrin washers while you're in there.

Thats in a 600? What other modifications do you have? what elevation are you riding at?

Any other suggestions? Thanks

Yes, 600. It's an '07 600 RMK SLP can, big air kit 2 flo rites, 390 mains, .9 paj, 40 pilots, fuel screws 1 turn out. 62.7 matched weights, blu/pink primary, blk/purple 66/44-.46 and 3 delrins. Running a 155 with fbomb mod and pro skid. This sled flat out rips at low elevation. Change weights and helix and it does great out west.

Thanks for the reply man. At wot my sled flat out rips, just finished a flatland ride in lots of deep fresh but i have a clutch bog. Its almost as if my clutch is dropping belts, the primary is fully rebuilt and resurfaced with a new belt. I have yet to service my secondary so im hoping the spring is weak after 4k miles and is causing my issue. Does that sound like a posibiity?

Any other suggestions? What benefits could i get from something other than a factory red/black

I have replaced everything else imaginable on the sled since it has happened besides checking the tps. The issue began a few rides before I broke an engine strap and when i realized it was broken i also realized a bolt had backed out on the broken strap so it was probably missing from the block before i had actually broken the mount causing the clutches to be misaligned. It feels as if the clutches are not grabbing the belt after i left off and get back on it. I have done absolutely everything but have the dealer hook the shop tool or check the tps. Even with the new strap installed it glazed my belt to a polish in 2 rides and blew the inner cogs right out of it so im thinking they have to be out of alignment. Im going to buy a new secondary spring, delrin washer, rollers and slp alignment tool tomorrow. If i still have the issue after i check my clutches and service the secondary its going to the dealer for the first time in since i have owned the sled(3 years) Never had an engine light, Any thoughts?

thanks

I just disassembled my secondary and there is no visible internal damage. My rollers have slight play and my helix is a little worn where the rollers contact it but nothing serious. I will still be replacing the spring and adding the delrin washer as well as checking clutch alignment once i pick up parts tomorrow.

If this doesn't fix my issue i have no choice but to take the sled to m dealer because there is nothing I have yet to go over besides the tps

Exhaust valves clean, moving freely and VES springs and bellows good?

Also, list your setup (same info I listed)

clean valves, new bellows this year, new springs last year and clean tubing running from the valves and from solenoid. Not much else to list my sled is fuel injected with a 2" track and all mods are in my sig. this year new fuel filter, engine strap, oil pump, plugs, rebuilt primary last year. I'm going to pull my primary as well to ensure there is no binding in the bushings but i highly doubt there are any issues.

thanks

well its turns out the shift comes with the p2 secondary and not the team so Im going to keep the spring and helix the same as stock.. I discovered some light marks on my helix. do you think this is anything to worry about? what would of caused this? the rollers are in good condition with very little play but i am replacing them regardless.
