Not to knowledgable need some help, I was looking over my sled and noticed the shutoof valve going to the carbs was in the off position.... But sled runs and all. This is very weird cause I have not touched anything since last winter. What am I missing? Is it supposedd to be off? Does it affect performance? Please give me some feed back thanks guys

Is the shut off valve you are looking at by the secondary clutch? If it is, that is for coolant going through the cabs for heat to keep the slides from freezing.

It's the shut off for the coolant to heat up the carbs, on a very cold day.
My cousin has the same sled. He has talked to a few dealers about it and they said just keep it off. Sled tends to run alittle hotter, when its on.

Leave it off, unless it's so cold you have carb freezing problems.
