08 XP Final Say on What are the suggested Clutch Upgrades

Not tryin to open a huge can of worms....But, I just got an XP Summit after riding one all last season, and I'm told that the stock clutch set up leaves something less than perfect. With a minor upgrade, this sled is unbeatable. I thought that it was good stock, I'm willing to try for better though.
Is it a simple adjustment or a new aftermarket purchase? I'm open to suggestion, got any?

Thanks :beer;

Get DJ's clutching.....www.mxzx-revzone.com

It is just about spot on!!! It was a HUGE improvement over stock!

Wait till the end of January though.... he has some new ramps he is adding to the package!

sure you can buy dj's kit or any other kit for about 500 or so , or you can buy a yellow spring for the secondary for about 15 $ and go just as good . these aftermarket guy's have a lot of people brain washed into thinking that you have to have this or that to be able to ride your chosen sled

I did a search on this topic on snowest and dootalk a couple nights ago. There are no consistant answers. Well, other than there a lot of guys making money off clutch parts. Some like a stiff spring, some a softer one. Some more weight, some less. Some like the reverse angle, some the straight and some the traditional multiangle helix. Ramps are a whole different story 441, 413, 415, 412 guys are using all of them and say thiers is the only one to use.

I would really suggest the new Center Roller Arms from supertourqer. They really do work makes your sled feel like it has that extra pull you wished it had.

what clutch kit will work for 9400' to 12000' on 08 146 xp, dealer did gear down change, seems slower with more rpm.top rpm in powder 8100 holds 8000 on hardpack.

for out of the box, the 09 HCS sled seems pretty spot on other than the gearing is too tall.. check the BRP web site as it lists all the parts

i can say the 09 stock clutching is very gooooood--our 08 x with 09 clutching is running veeeery good

my 09 clutching was not working very well at 2500 ft. I''m getting closer but I still can't hold rpms in the deeper snow. I'm trying the 413 ramps. Might need less ramp and more weight. I don't think it's the helix. secondary is always cool. A primary spring with a stronger finish rate will probably just raise the rpms in the not so deep stuff.

Anyone have any suggestions?
